Dunbar Sets
Homecoming

Dunbar High School's home-
coming will be highlighted with
activities both tonight and Satur-
day night, officials have an-
nounced.

Tonight's activities will include
a student council social and bon-
fire at 7 p. m. in the school gym-
nasium. A parade is scheduled
for 4 p. m. Saturday.

Miss Opal Mae Matton, queen
of the Tigers, will reign as Miss
Dunbar with attendants Mary
Donley, Ruth Evelyn Lewis, Vir-
ginia Howard, and Willie Marie
Davis.

At 7 p. m. in Panther Stadium,
pre-game ceremonies will honor
mothers of the football team. All
mothers are asked to use the re-
serve section prepared for them.

Each member of the Tiger foot-
ball team will present his mother
with a corsage. Mmes. Redd, Tay-
lor and Lyons will also be present-
ed flowers.

Half-time activities will include
the crowning of Miss Dunbar and
the presentation of Miss Home-
coming. Mrs. Ercelle Penson Hall
was selected by the Dunbar alum-
ni to reign as queen.

Her attendants will be present-
ed. Kickoff for the football game
will be at 7:30 p. m.
