cloudy & like for Rain this morning
Hester folded a mare Colt mule, 12th
May 1857 called Molly went 11½ months this time

15th Fixing to Plant Irish Potatoes greens & Cotton
to day, Jordan Croping, Hilling at new
ground; cloudy & like for Rain, Halling
out manure,- with waggon to day —
Planed cotton Irish Potatoes Simblings watermellons
Cucumbers etc Potatoe Pumpkins 1 square of
Greens Planted in Garden, Jordan finished
Coltering at new ground this evening
Mrs Clements & Nannie started to Riceville
with Henry Clay & Mule & got the other side
of Bridge & had to take buggy — Henry
not done Halling out manure yet -

16th Halling Out manure Jordan halling
rails awhile & then will help Henry till
he finishes Balance Hilling at new
ground & trying to finish to day -

17th went to meeting at Strait Stone

18th Went to Court Bot Buggy of Mr Hunt
2 Setts Harness for Fannie White at $154.12

19th Got Back from Court with Buggy
Monday & Tuesday it rained & we did
not do much chop in Oats cleaned
of fresh ground Picked up roots at
new ground made Scare Crows etc.
