[New B Bedon?]

New Bedford Nov. 19 1859

Dear Sister

To day [Today] is the Nineteenth
of November and the mail I guess
are all out and I have not receive [received]
any letter from you by this steamer
and feel quite low spirited more so
on Grandmother's account. She feels
very bad indeed not receiving a letter
to know how Willie is I should think that
you might afford time there being two
of you to write to us every steamer as it
would be rather cheering to us to her [hear]
from you and the Children we miss
them very much.. times are quite hard
as I am not to work myself and it
seems rather hard to get along all we
have to depend on is what Charles gets and
I wish he was making more, than two
