You must be enjoying having
your Mother near you for so long.
I know that to her it is a
great comfort, and she is also
having a much needed rest
from the cares of the house.

John and I had lunch with
Aunt Maude and Polly Haviland
today at their apartment. We
enjoyed it very much.
Maude and I have a good deal
in common now, and I enjoy
being with her. She always
asks with great interest about
each one of you, as does every
one who knows you. While I was
out today the Misses Robinson
called. I was sorry to miss them.

I have just now been talking to
your father and he seems to
think it likely that you have
already gone from Camp Kearney.
