altogether is very displeased with
the restraint placed upon him. But
he has done well and we should all
feel proud of him. At times I feel
that aviation would be the life
for me – there can be no question
but that it is the most interesting
enlightening and instructive branch of
the service.

Well, Edward, old Mogs, write
me whenever time and matters permit,
do your duty as you see it – a
credit to all – and remember that
we have that party date in Europe
sometime in the near future.

Don't forget to write home to
mother and always be cheerful
when you do so. When you write
to me say what you will.
