My dear old Edward:

I received this morning your long letter
of the 14th and note that you will leave Camp
Agassiz on Sat the 24th and will arrive at
16th St on Sunday morning between 7 & 8. I
will try to be at 16th St to meet you, so you
had better get off there. Be sure to let me
know if you need any money.

You dont say anything about being sick, so
I suppose you are well again, nor do you say
anything about whether you received the shoes.

I shall be very glad to see you my dear boy
and am very glad that you are having
such a fine time. We all send love
