all experienceing the greatest joy &
delight over it Dr Fisk U.S.N.
a friend of the Watermans who lives in
Berkeley where in to see duty & who
has been in France himself during
the war & has returned a great
number of the U.S.N. ship destroyers
etc. Congratulated me last night
over the phone. They had kindly
sent us their Army & Navy Register with the
notice in of your award (--- I had met
Mr Fisk in S.F. When on a hunt to
buy all the Registers I could find
as I wanted it to send around
to everyone) I could only get about
