I was watching an aeroplane
from the government aviation
school flying across the
parade grounds this afternoon
when it took a flip-flop and
fell head-first to the ground.
The driver was unconscious when
they took him out of the seat
but I don't think he was hurt
very bad. He only fell
about 150 feet. It landed
squarely on top of an officer's
tent, but luckily nobody
was in the tent. I don't know
how I happened to be lucky
enough to see it fall.
Aeroplanes are so common
around here that we never
pay any attention to them.
