Dear Lela: -

I just came from the
show, and it is too early
to go to bed so I will
write you a few lines
while I have the ambition.
The show was pretty
good so I am in a
pleasant mood which is
something out of the
ordinary for me during
the past few days, as all
we have now is a few
non-coms left in this old
company, and it seems as
lonesome as the dickens.
Troop trains were pulling
out of here all last week
