I heard His Majesty's Royal
Guard's band play in the
camp I was in last night.
It is one of England's best
bands and believe me they
can play some. They were
scheduled to play before
the King this week, but the
leader made an announcement
and said it was called
off until next week in
order to let the Yankees
hear them. I wish Mother
could have been in my
place she would have
enjoyed it awhole lot
more. It is about the first
good thing I have seen since
I arrived here. I haven't got
