The King and Queen were there
and after the games they gave
away medals to the winners.
The engineers in the tug-o-war
each received a medal which
will be a souvenir well worth
having.
Thansgiving is getting close
now and we have prospects of
eating turkey on that day if the
Germans don’t sink them. If
they ever sunk out turkeys we
would all be out after a German
and I am afraid France would
be minus a few of her prisoners.
This might be the last letter
you receive before Xmas so
