Dick, Paul Penland & I
left early for the aviation
field. Had dinner in
Mt. Notre Dame. A wond(erful?)
meal cooked by an old
lady. We had to go out
and buy the food. Left
at 1 P.M. for Fismes.
Stoped in Fismes a
short time & went to
the field, about two miles
out of town. Left there
a little after six. Went
through a hospital and
found a comrad, an
ambulance driver of
section 66. Started to
leave the hosbital and
the rain drove us back.
Waited for the rain to be
over. Had another big
feed in Fismes. Again had
