Walked to the aviation
field. Two planes came
in from the lines
with shrapnel holes
in them. An observer
friend of mine gave
me a picture of the
German lines on the
Chemind de Dames
taken from an aeorplane.
Got home 11:30. No
dinner & very tired.

the afternoon for water.
Tried out No 6. Still on
the bum. Worked on the
