went to the aviation field
with the hopes of flying, as
a pilot promised to take
us. Dick busted the seat
on his wheel and we
didn't reach the field
until it was too late
to fly. Very disappointed.

to cary 75 from Fare en
Tardenois to Villers en
Prayers. Waited three
hours to be unloaded.
All of two hundred
camions holled 75 there
today. Very heavy barrage
fire all along the frunt.
Passed many wounded
in ambulances. Saw some
