passed his mental exam,
but I was too late in
finishing with my
physical exam for the
mental. They gave me
a letter asking that my
permission be extended
till Thursday so that I
could take my mental
exam, but 21 Rue,
Rayunard refused to
grant it, so Herb & I
came back to camp on
the night train. Arrived
at Int. Notre Dame at
11 P.M. Had a six km.
walk with our suitcases.
Got to camp & found no
beds. Made a bed of Camion
seats & Hank Howards
blankets.
