Got rained on in the
morning in the camion.
Very sore to think that
we had to come home on
the night train. Tried to
get a telegram off to
Paris to get permission
for leave to go in & take
my mental exam. Found
that I couldn't get an
answer in time. In
the afternoon dicided
to heat my way to Paris
along with the two
permissionares going in.
Got a ride most of the
way to Fair en Todmains.
Herb. Brown said that
the Captain wanted to
know why I was late
on returning from my
permission. Told Herb
to tell the Frenchmen
