My Dearest Friend Henry:

Received your dear
letter and was so pleased to
here from you. I would
have answered your letter
sooner but have been out
in the machine from early morn-
ing until late at night -- and when
I would come home I would be
all worn out and would to to
bed. Sunday we started early in
the morning and went to San
Jose and called on some friends.
