Yesterday I was feeling blue
and lonely so I sat down and
read all of your dear letters.
They sure cheered me up some
dear and I wondered if there
was any more on the way for
me. I hope there are many letters
from you as I look forward for
a letter at every mail. I received
a letter from mother and one of
the boys at the store. I got a letter
from Karl Barion and Mrs. Ring-
holm and was pleased to hear
from them. I got an insured
package from home a couple of
days ago. It contained a fruit
cake, cookies, nuts, cigars, tobacco
and a pair of socks from Mrs. Curtain
