I have to use a book and my
fingers and such a time I do
have. It takes me a while to count
up the french money for it does
not seem near as easy as our
American money. We are having
very nice weather here and the
sun rising in the mornings is
very beautiful. But dear I would
much rather watch the sun set
beyond the Golden Gate.

I received an Xmas card
from your folks in Redwood City
and I certainly was glad to hear
from them. Dear I wrote your dad
a letter a couple of days ago and
will send another in the near
