a trip to Redwood City. For a while
I just imagined I was taking a ride
with you. The only difference is that
most all of the houses are built of stone
and very few wooden buildings. Gee
I sure walked some that day, it seem
ed like twenty miles to me and I sure
was tired.

We have a base ball team, a foot ball
game and a couple other games. So
there are games scheduled for every
Sunday which will be a little fun
for all the fellows. Last night we had
a entertainment in the mess hall
and it sure was fine. The band furnish
ed the music and played some very
fine opera. There were two boxing
matches and a dancing act, with a
weight lifting contest and a leggin
and shoe race. The leggin and shoe
race was to see who could put on
their shoes and leggins quickest.
