raining since last Saturday and
there is quite a bit of mud on the
roads. Monday night the band gave
a concert in our mess hall and it
was very good. We are going to have
an entertainment Friday night.
and the band will furnish the
music. There is going to be a very nice
program and I will tell you
about it later.

I received several letters this
week one from my cousin Elsie,
Walter and that little fat fool
from U.M. Co. I had two letters from
mother and one from Otto. It sure
is good to get so many letters but
it is a hard job to answer them
because one does not know what
