I received two letters from mother
and two from Walter and one from
Elsie. That is about all the mail I
have received in a month. Your last
letter was dated June 28. and I
have not received any since.

We are just back from a recent
drive and are now camped in a
woods under our shelter halves
and tents. The weather is very nice
at present but was very wet and
miserable during the drive. For
two days I was wet to the skin
and it no fun packing a gun
