What kind of a time did you have at
they party your aunt gave? I guess you
had a swell time and I certainly wish
I had been there. Do you still remember
the last party I was at dear? Do you still
remember the dances we went to together
or have you forgotten them? They sure were
grand old days and I hope I will see
some of them again soon.

Well dear things are quiet around
here except when we are at the front
and then it gets too hot to suit me in
places. We all recieved new clothes and
went down and took a hot shower this
afternoon. It sure was swell as we do
not often get the chance to enjoy the water.

I wrote a letter to Martha last week
and hope she gets it. Send me Joes address
so I can write to him. Give my regards
to your uncle and aunt. Tell aunt not
to forget to have that party ready for me
when I get back.

Well dear paper is running out and the
candle is getting very low so I will have to
stop for this time. Give my regards to the
folks down at Redwood City. With much
true love and many kisses from your
lonesome soldier boy.

Hienie.
