over here the better satisfied I will be.
The day can not be to soon when they put
me on a ship and start me for home.

I wrote Martha a letter but do not
know if she got it, as there is a lot of
mail that goes astray. Well dear I have
no more news so will close. Give my
regards to your uncle and aunt. Also
to the folks down at Redwood City.
Have you heard from Joe yet? I have
been waiting for his address so I could
write to him. I wish you a very Merry
Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous
New Year and many of them. Do
you still remember the one New Years
we had at your aunt's house dear?

I hope we will be able to have
another like it some day. Hoping you
are well and happy I remain yours
as ever. With love and kisses from

Henry
