We have had a long hike and have
now established our lines. It will be a
long old hike back. I would not mind
it if we were bound for home.

We are having real Xmas weather
Lots of snow and ice. Every thing is
covered in a sheet of white. The kids
are having a lot of fun skating and
sleigh riding. Every once in a while
we have a snow ball battle.

I received a letter and some pictures
of the old times from Bill Larsen. He
says there is nothing like married
life. He is giving me some good ad-
vice about getting married says it
is the only life.

My cousin Sorine wrote and
told me about the addition to the
family a baby boy. She likes Long
Beach very much and says it is
