Dearest Marie,
I have not heard from you
for some time but hope you are well
and happy. We are back of the lines
in billets at the present but may move
at any moment. I have been camping
on a hill side under the trees in my
tent. The weather has been quite warm
of late with a few showers now and
then.
We have received a lot of new men
in the company and are again ready
for action. We have called on at any
moment and are always ready. I
have been hoping that we would get
a long rest but I guess there is no
such luck.
I received a letter from Pete and
he says things are quiet. His brother
is over here in some aero squadron. | 124#10
