January 7.
Pretty nice awhile then it gave us a cold north east
wind and lots of it. We fixed the horse rake where the
axle was bent and put the things into the tool shed
and done sundry other small jobs.

Tues
Weather rather cooler with some wind.
Lew had a lame eye and didn't work. I
worked at cleaning out the barn but
didn't get done, had to drive out Jerys cattle
and fix the fence.
