Wed JUNE 19. Little nice long day. Pretty warm and didnt rain. Lew plowed buckwheat ground all day. So did Bert except what time it took him to finish bunching the hay in the little pieces near the barn. I hoed in the forenoon and in the afternoon shucked hay most of the time.

JUNE 20. Thurs Pretty fair day but cloudy most of the time. I sowed the buckwheat and shucked up the hay about the house and the pieces towards the barn. Lew helped finish plowing the buckwheat ground and cultivated corn the rest of the day. Bert after he got through plowing harrowed the rest of the day. We had just enough buckwheat to sow the piece.
