OCTOBER 3.
As nice as a peach. Lew finished raking
the alfalfa in the forenoon and I done various
chores about the place and then in the afternoon
we hauled hay got two good big loads put
one in the barn and the other at the west
end of the stack.

OCTOBER 4.
Nice again. Lew and I hauled 4 loads
of hay and stacked it in the hay correll [corral].
