Thurs Feb 6
Pretty nice to day only most [almost] too breezy. Lew went to town and brought out a load of coal and one thing and another. Dave went a school visiting. I got in a pretty fair days work at various different things.

Fri Feb 7
Clear and rather nice but a little breezy. Lew hauled manure. Dave cut up and salted the hind quarters of Kirk and went with Mr Haag getting specimens upon the side hill at white rocks in the afternoon. I helped Lew haul manure part of the time and this afternoon I got the water
running on to the orchard.
