Tues March 4
Mostly cloudy but other wise quite comfortable. Lew helped clean alfalfa seed until we got through. I went over this morning with the last 11 sacks and staid [stayed] until it was finished. Then we came home. Got home about chore time. Dave done the chores mostly.

Wed March 5
Sort of a cloudy sour day and spit snow a little. Dave and Lew hauled a couple of loads of hay from windy hill. Then Lew went to town to do some errands. I put some stays to the stack yard around the stacks of alfalfa straw. Cut some cions and tinkered in the shop a little.
