Mothers birth day. Pretty nice only we had a cold snap of about an hour towards night. Dave went to town. Lew worked at the ditches on the Larimer place. I worked at cutting and setting slips.

Pretty windy all day but it sort of moderated a little towards
night. Lew harrowed in the forenoon north of the house and in the afteroon he scraped in the ditch at the East end of the timber claim. Dave took Charleys cow home. I cleaned out the ditch next to the head gate in the forenoon and set a few slips and I set slips in the afternoon.
