Quite a nice day. Clear most all day. Clouded up towards night but it was nice still and warm. Lew worked at the ditches on the windy hill place. I cut and set slips on the timber claim.

All kinds but mostly nice. Mrs Bartlett and Marnie went home to day. Dave took them over to the Depot. Lew went up to the Spring Canion [Canyon] place with some oats for seed and some other things to sow and use. I cut slips most all day and got a lot cut too.
