Whew how the wind blue [blew]. I
really felt blew about it myself
for I couldnt hardly keep warm
close to the stove. So we all
kept pretty close to it most
of the time.

Wed Apr 9
Quite a nice day once more.
Dave went to Mr Walthalls
and got a cart and harness that
Lew had traded for after
he got home he went to
town.
I worked at cutting
and setting slips up on
the timber claim. A
Mr Ryckman came out
and wanted to buy the
ash trees. He thought he
would want all of them. I told
him if he did 20 cts [$0.20] each would buy them.
