Weather pretty nice.
Lew got home about 11 O clock
and after a little while we
got ready and went to Mr
Wallthalls and Lew went on
over to Mr Farmers and mother
and I staid [stayed] at Mr. Walthalls
and had a nice visit. After Lew
got back we came home
very quietly.

Mon Apr 7 The wind
kept up a howl most all day.
Dave went over to town after
Medas things. Lew went up
to the spring canion [canyon] ranch
to put in some oats.
I worked at setting
slips and trimmed trees
awhile on the timber
claim.
