Tues Feb 27 Clear and pretty fair only a little windy. Frank took out the potatoes and put them into the cellar found they had kept very well. I tried to help him some but the cool air seems to make me hoarse and I have to cough so much when I excersaise [exercise] any out of door when it is cool.

Wed Feb 28 Pretty fair to day. Mother and I went over to town to be treated by Dr Wright but another man came in his place so we had treatment from him. We took dinner at R L Jenneys and then proceeded to Dotts's. Found them all right and full of stock business.

Thurs March 1 Quite nice again to day. We staid at Reas's to day. They weighed their cattle and found they did not average quite up to what they thought they would. They brought all but 10 head back and hired Reas to feed them for a while longer.

Fri March 2 Fine again. We left for home about half past 10 AM and stopped and stayed at Lew and Marys until about 2 PM and eat dinner with them then came home found things all hunky dory. Frank has hauled a couple of loads of hay this afternoon from up here on the 10 acre piece. He put it in north of the cow stable for the cows.
