Wed April 17
A real nice day. Will hauled manure this forenoon and this afternoon helped me set strawberry plants. I worked at the strawberry business all day.

Thurs Apr 18
Clear in the fore part of the day but pretty cloudy and windy this afternoon. Will and I finished setting out the strawberry plants then Will hauled manure and I watered the plants and then I set out 3 cherry trees.

Fri Apr 19
Clear in the morning but it blustered around Some in the afternoon and rained a small little bit but not much. Will hauled manure all day. I set out several Cherry and apple trees and watered the strawberry plant and then set a cottonwood west of the house.

Sat Apr 20
Clear to Start on and after a while it began to get cloudy and kept getting more so until it began to rain just at night and is raining a little yet. Will went to town in the forenoon and helped me set trees in the afternoon and we took out the potatoes too. I worked at the tree business but have got done now.

Sun Apr 21
It rained slowly most of the night I think and this morning it was giving us a very wet snow which held out until some time afternoon. Will went over to Lews found Sam still suffering from the rheumatism. Poor fellow he has a hard time. The rest of them were doing pretty well. Blacky has a boy calf mostly black.
