Sun March 2
Quite nice with rather a cool wind. All kept Sunday very well. Dave went out to see somebody and C V Howard was here in the evening.

Mon March 3
Quite a nice warm day. Started in to haul the alfalfa seed to town. Had lots of vexation of spirit on account that Mr Kugh wanted the whole including the sacks and pay for cleaning and half of the screenings but we got some better terms or we would have brought it home again. Got some of it cleaned and Lew staid [stayed] over there to help clean it.
