Tues. Feb. 21st Ground hog day.
The morning quite cloudy but
broke away towards noon and the
sun shone out quite bright
and the ground hog could see his
shadow most of the afternoon.
We continued to visit.

Wed. Feb. 3 Beautiful all day
and kept it up in the evening.
Reas and Sutton butchered the
hogs to day [today]. They had 4 of them.
At night we all but Ett and Ida
went to the Lyceum. Ett had the
sick headache and staid [stayed] at home
and Ida staid [stayed] with her.

We found a good many there that
we knew and enjoyed the
evening entertainment vey [very]
much.
