Wed April 19 A cold disagreeable
day but mostly clear. We came home form
Charleys about 10 O clock. I worked the
rest of the day north of the house in the
truck patch. Kib and Lew plowed some
this forenoon below the orchard and this
afternoon Lew went to town took over
the cream and got his double buggy
harness etc. Kib worked at harrowing
on the truck patch north of the house.

Thurs Apr 20 As mean a
cold windy day as could be scored up
in April. The boys worked at one
thing and another and I kept out
of the cold wind.

Fri Apr 21 Cold but
mostly clear. The boys finished
getting in the barley and oats below the
orchard and done some other jobs.
I sowed the piece and sowed some
little gem peas and went to town and
found it a legal holliday [holiday] Arbor Day
so I looked around a little and
came home again. Mr Cushions folks were here to day.
