Fri Apr 28 Cold and raw all day but
commenced to rain while we were a
milking and is raining now quite a
little. Kib and I worked at pulling up
rose and goosebery bushes down in
the orchard and hauling them off and
we have got quite a big pile too.
Lew has just got home.

Sat Apr 29 Cloudy and stormy all
day but didnt snow much nor we
didnt do much either. Kib went to town
with the cream and him and Lew done the
chores.

Sun Apr 30 Clear and thawed
quite a lot. We kept Sunday about
as usual.

Mon May 1st Clear and quite nice
and comfortable. We went to work to
put in that piece of 8½ acres to oats.
I sowed. Lew cultivated and Kib
harrowed this afternoon. Peggy
got us a nice bull calf this morning.
