Thurs Feb 28 Clear this morning but got miserable
cold through the day. We have been visiting since
the 14th at Charleys and Medas and Reas's and Franks
and Will Kingland and Mary came after us
to day [today] and we came home got home about 3 O
clock found things all right [alright] at home. Lew has
rented the Snow place and was over there at
work when we came home. There has been plenty
of stormy and disgreeable weather since we
went away.

Fri March 1 Clear with a
cold South wind. Lew worked at the house where
he expects to move. I didnt do much but worked a
little.

Sat March 2 Fine in the morning
but got to blowing towards noon like blazes but
got to be somewhat warmer and a little more
civil towards night. Lew and May went
over to their house to work. I wrote a contract
for him and Mr Evans but did not do
anything more to speak of.

Sun March 3 Clear mostly but a miserably
cold wind. Mother came home with Lew Mary
and Meda last night and has been with us to day [today[. I
think he is feeling better than he was awhile ago.
We spent the day reading mostly. Will Ringland
came this afternoon and has made us quite a visit.

Mon Mar 4 Quite nice until 2 or 3 O clock then the
wind blew and just at night the snow flew. Lew went
over to the Snow place and worked to day [today]. I worked some
in the shop finished Lew and Mays table anyhow and
split wood some too.
