Sun Feb 10 Pretty cold all day about from 6
to 10° above zero and it snowed slowly most all
of the time since yesterday morning but the
snow is not more than 4 inches deep now.
We have been keeping Sunday pretty regularly
to day [today]. Johny has gone over to town with Meda now.

Mon Feb 11 Very cold yet averaging
near to zero and it snowed for a little most of the time
too. The boys done some colt breaking and
mended gloves and Dan and I helped to tie
bedquilt some too. The snow is now rather
scant 4 inches deep and it has cleared off.

Tues Feb 12 Clear but very cold
16° below zero this morning and will beat it tomorrow
morning. Lew went up the the Spring Canion [Canyon]
to take Johny home. He has gone home to
stay. Dan hauled manure. I didnt do much.

Wed Feb 13 Clear mostly but colder
than yesterday. The boys took a load of hay over to
Charley. It weighed 2,120 lbs brought 5.24. I looked
around to find something to do but didnt see
anything that I liked.

Thurs Feb 14 Clear and Cold about zero
weather and a little below. The boys hauled a load of hay
from the 10 acre piece up to the windy hill this
morning then Lew went to town and Dan sawed
wood. I made some awl handles and fixed up a
barrell [barrel] hoping to make it hold water.
