The State of Mississippi
Newton County

At a special Term of the Board of Supervisors, in and for said County began and held at the Court House, in the Town of Decatur, in said County of Newton, on the 11^th day of September A.D. 1871, among other proceedings had, was the following Order—to wit—

"Ordered that this Board of Supervisors fully indorse the Order passed by the Board of School Directors in relation to the County Treasurer W N Raines, for failing & refusing to make his Reports, and that the said Order of said Board of School Directors, be spread upon the minutes of this Board.
