Resignation Overseer
KS McFarlane tendered his resignation as Overseer of Works to the Council also as Health Inspector and Authorised Officer under various Acts . Cr Morgan expressed his regret at the necessity for the resignation.
Cr Smith in supporting stated that Mr McFarlane had done a good job and would be hard to replace. Cr Richardson also endorsed the remarks.

March and that the next Council meeting be postponed until

Application Overseer
It was resolved that applications for the position of Overseer etc
be advertised in E Peninsula and Advertiser one day each week for 3 weeks. Applications to be received until noon on 27th March.

Guarantee Drs Salary
Ratepayers of Mortlock & Shannon Wards requested the Council to give a guarantee of a salary to a Medical Practitioner Dr MG Gratton at Cummins of £800 per annum for 2 years from funds of Mortlock & Shannon Wards if required.
