Comments: : View of Maple Road (today's 38th Street) looking east between Michigan Road and Clarendon Road.

Additional Information: The fencing/wall on each side of the road is for the north and south parts of Crown Hill cemetery.

Comments: : Maple Rd./38th Street looking east from the intersection with Pennsylvania.

Additional Information: If you zoom in on the houses on the north side of the street, the one farthest to the right (closest to the road) has a semi-circle window/dormer on the west facing roof. This house still stands on the northwest corner of Washington and 38th.

Comments: : Image is taken from the old Washington Street bridge, looking south towards the Kingan packing house. The bridge with their name on it was used to transport livestock from their facilities on the westside of the river (right side of the image) to the east side.

Additional Information: The Washington Street bridge from where this photo is taken was destroyed in the flood of 1913.
