Cover with sauce crust
and cut an opening in
center of top crust, then
place in oven to bake -
In the meantime melt 1
Tables. butter, add 1 Tables.
flour. Cook for few minutes
then add strained oyster
liquor. 1/2 cup water and
cook two minutes. Season
with 1 teas. white pepper
Add 1 cup cream or milk.
When pie is nearly done
put a funnel in center
opening and pour in as
much of sauce as pie
will hold. Return to oven
and bake ten minutes
longer.
