Very fine & warm & went to St Georges Monestry

Monday 4th
Went up to the Lime Kiln to see the blowing
up the Fort Nicholas & Michailoff mounting 192 Guns
which Commence at 1 p.m. it shook the Earth for
Miles & the Air with Smoke for hours the Explosions
lasted some time the Sight was Splended

Tuesday 5th
Fort Michael blown up & all the week

Thursday 7th
Went to the Valley of the Tchenaya & drank
out of the River, which Devides the french from
the Russians the Russians fire into this waters
it is whear the french waters thear horses
Finished at the 18th Royal Irish 3rd Devision

Monday 11th
Went up to the 30th 2nd Devision to work Blowing
up the Barracks Stores Houses the Shocks was Great
all the week in the English Side of the Town

Saturday 16th
