To distill a most Excellent Water called
Cherry water which is very Cordiall and
Soveraine against Melancholy
First take 4 pounds of Cherries 4 pintes of Clarett wine 2 ounces of Cinnamon 2 Nutt-
meggs, a handful of Balme, steep all those
together in an Earthen pott all night, and []
next day putt them into an Ordinary still and
[] distill them, then put into your glasses of water
to [] quart of Water, a quarter of a pound of white
Sugar candy and a little musk of Amber[]
in a fine linnen Ragg & hang itt with a [] about
your glass neik in your water, & afterwards sunn itt
well as you doo your other distilled Waters.
