For a [roast]Bukk approved

Take a breast of Mutton & cutt of the Briskatt
and cutt itt in pee[c]es & boyle itt in 2 quarts
of red or brown Cowes milk of one Cow &
boil in itt a good handfull of Riffwort &
as much knottgrass when it is boyled enough
as other meats strain the broath & when its
cold take of the fatt & drink a [perenger]
full of this eerry mornding & ebening & fast after itt two houres.

Mrs Moores excellent Cordiall
Take Cornslip flowers, Rosemary flowers
sage flowers, poppy flowers, clover gilly flowers
and a little of the topps of Balme, and topps of Rosemary & sweet Marjoram topps, & a Nutmeg
Quarters & a few cloves bruised; a stick or two of Cinamon broken, then flowers of Burrage, big as
surrery Infuse as much of all those as can be
cramd into a pipkin, an equall Quantity of
Damask rose water & old Muske in & close covers
24 houres, then still itt and takeing itt use a
spoonfull of the syrrup of Clover gilly flowers to
4 or 5 spoonfulls of the Cordiall
